Harrisburg names new Football Coach

Harrisburg has named Christopher Starkey as their 2nd coach in the history of their program, succeeding Travis Kinkade. Starkey is a Missouri native, but most recently was the Interim Head Football Coach & Offensive Coordinator at River Valley HS in Fort Mohave, AZ. Starkey graduated from Vianney HS in St. Louis and played collegiality at Westminster in Fulton. Starkey will inherit a young program that will be entering it’s 6th season of varsity action. “We are very excited to have Coach Starkey on board”, stated Athletic Director Doug Fessler. “He is excited to be ingrained in the community and start something special at Harrisburg with the football program from the youth to the HS. When you listen to him speak, you just get excited about what he has to offer.”
