High School Business: The Harrisburg R-VIII School District has an opening for a High School Business teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Coaching opportunities are available but not required with this position. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree and be eligible for Missouri Teacher Certification. We are a four-day school week located in mid-Missouri, 15 miles north of Columbia and are one of the top paying school districts in Boone County, with a first year teacher's salary starting at $44,000 per year. SUBSTITUE – NON TEACHING POSITIONS

Currently accepting applications for the following positions

Route Bus Drivers- This position requires a CDL license with a school bus and passenger endorsement.  The district will provide training for individuals without the required licensure. This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision.

Substitute Bus Drivers–This position requires a CDL license with a school bus and passenger endorsement.  The district will provide training for individuals without the required licensure.  Substitute bus drivers have flexible hours and are provided printed route lists for assistance.  Radio assistance is available.

Substitute Aides–This position assists the teacher with classroom activities.  Aides have flexible hours. Application process is open until position is filled.

Substitute Cooks–This position assists with the daily breakfast and lunch meal preparation and serving. Application process is open until position is filled.
