6th Grade Science: Joe Schmitz with Central Electric Cooperative visited our classroom today and gave a presentation on how to save on energy and electricity! The students really enjoyed him coming to our classroom.

The MS track meet at CMU for today has been canceled due to impending weather tonight.
The V/JV baseball game at Tipton has been moved up to a 3:30 pm start with no JV.

Today, Harrisburg students in Dr. Weathers' Spanish classes submitted short films to the UCM Student Foreign Language Film Festival. Below is a list of the awards won by Harrisburg students:
KyAnn Langdon - 2nd place for Best Documentary.
Cooper Peters, Evan Wilder, and Harley Smith - 3rd place for Best Intermediate Comedy
Kelson Langdon, Beau Weathers, Sophie McCune, Mila Shaw, & Zane Wade - 1st place for Best Elementary Comedy
DJ Kitchens - 2nd place for Best Elementary Spanish Film
Finally, it was a clean sweep for Harrisburg students in the Elementary Spanish Drama category!

Audrey Reedy, Kourtney Strawn, and Izzie Twenter-Savvenas represented the Harrisburg FBLA at the State FBLA Leadership Conference this week on April 12-14. They attended leadership workshops and enjoyed the conference social with mini golf, Dirty Sodas and the bunge run! They also enjoyed Lambert's, Andy's Frozen Custard and shopping at the mall. Despite contest results not going their way, they enjoyed the fun conference activities with approximately 5,000 other FBLA members from across the state! Thank you to all for your support of the Harrisburg FBLA!
