8th grade STEAM classes exploring the changes in states of matter by using ice to tie dye T-shirts.
First graders had a math task on Friday to figure out how many cubes it would take to fill a whole Tower Race game board, a game we play at school. Several wrote an equation for the whole board which was 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10= Students got with partners and used cubes and whiteboards to problem solve. Then each partnership got to share their thinking with the class. We saw each group do something a little different, but each had the same answer. They did a great job! 🤩
Last week our fifth grade students collaborated with their peers to create poetry after reading mentor texts.

Harrisburg will host the Central State 8 MS Basketball Tournament this week. Games begin on Tuesday for both the girls and the boys
