TEACHER FEATURE TUESDAY: Mr. Corey Whitaker is our featured teacher for this week. Mr. Whitaker has been teaching 7th & 8th grade social studies at Harrisburg for the past 5 years. Students in his World Geography and American History classes benefit from the real world examples and hands-on experiences that his classes offer. His high energy and skill at using humor to make history relevant and relatable make learning enjoyable for his students. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Whitaker coaches middle school and high school Cross Country and track. He also serves on our district Academic Advisory and Teachers Leading Teachers Teams. Thank you, Mr. Whitaker, for dedicating your time and talents to the students of our district! #bulldawgpride
