6th Grade Science: The students had to develop a question to determine which dish soap made the bigger bubble. They had to decide from Dawn or Palmolive Dish Soap and then they had to form a hypothesis. They did a great job making some huge bubbles.

TEACHER FEATURE TUESDAY: This week’s featured teacher is Ms. Jodie Bass. Jodie graduated from Central Methodist University in May 2025 and joined our middle school teaching staff this fall. Although this is her first year teaching, she is already a familiar face in Harrisburg having assisted with both HS girls basketball and MS track & field last school year while finishing her degree at CMU.
Ms. Bass is teaching 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Earth Science this year and will resume her coaching duties assisting for HS Girls basketball and MS track & field.
Some fun facts about Ms. Bass: she played on a state championship team for Coach Jaryt Hunziker, was in a commercial for the American Cancer Society when she was four, and she and her Mother were featured on the cover of Oprah Winfrey’s O Magazine.
